Financial business Analyst
We are currently looking for a financial business analyst, you will be working for an exciting, growing and large insurance company in Bristol. it is a great opportunity to get into a company with the view to be there on a long term contract. The person for this role will come from an insurance or financial services background and will ideally be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
Key technical skills, qualifications and experience required to fulfil role
- Recently or nearly qualified accountant with understanding of reporting processes
- Experience of financial analysis and reporting across multiple business units and geographic boundaries
- Experience in process re-engineering or change projects in the financial reporting arena advantageous.
- Specific knowledge of Cost Allocation, Chart of Accounts design or Benefits measurement advantageous.
What we are looking for:
- Finance/accounting/reconciliation background very useful, would prefer this to life and pensions
- Good general BA working on a range of projects - mainly regulatory/mandatory
- Process workshops and process re-engineering experience very useful
- Initial project likely to be around launching new protection products
