Description
A major Semiconductor organisation within The Netherlands has a requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a contractual basis within their Research and Development department. As the successful Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and specification of Semiconductor products and components using 3D and 2D drawing programs. The work is based in The Netherlands and provides an opportunity to work for a major Semiconductor organisation that has a large focus on innovation within the Semiconductor Industry.Role and Responsibilities:
. Be responsible for creating mechanical designs
. Validate designs using calculations
. Use 3D drawing programs to design and draw
. Make construction drawings in 2D
. Support the production process
Ideal Level of Experience:
. Be educated to degree level with a Bachelors in Mechanics or Mechatronics
. Have at least 2 years work experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
. Be skillful with 3D drawing programs, preferably Solid Edge
. Knowledge of vacuum technique, equipment and high voltage is preferred
