Description
IT Business Analyst required by leading Investment Bank to join a Finance IT team working on strategic/tactical improvements to a global P&L reporting tool. The team is responsible for developing and implementing solutions for Product Control, Financial Control and Regulatory. These include systems for generating and reporting P&L, reconciliations and performing control functions such as Price Testing. This is a key Finance project, which forms the key liaison between the business and IT, particularly during requirements gathering, analysis and testing activities. You will collaborate with business counterparts to understand and document business processes and data structures, Understand and document current application flows within the architecture and identify and document changes to the application flows that will be necessary to support business requirements within and downstream of the system. Experience wise you will need to have come from an IT background with proven project experience. Ideally you will need to demonstrate P&L/Attribution & risk explain but if not have a very good awareness of finance and the up stream and down stream dependencies.
