DESCRIPTION

The Software Engineer will perform design, implementation, and unit testing of software subsystems. Direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems. The interface subsystems are based on a Motif interpreter. Will be responsible for interface designs to support Motif interpreter windows. Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Embedded Software Applications for HSQa project.
  • Develop Test/Diagnostic Software for integration of HSQa modules.
Qualifications:
  • Agile and Scrum experience.
  • Medical Equipment development process.
  • Off-shore team leadership experience.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 7+ years experience in the field or related area.
  • Advanced knowledge in C/C++/C# programming languages. UML modelling.
  • Advanced knowledge in developing Real Time Embedded application with RTOS (QNX preferred).
  • Strong knowledge with Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody UML or other OOAD modelling tools.
  • Experience with authoring Test cases, document test results.
  • Experience developing solutions utilizing the Scrum methodology.
  • Work well within a team environment.
  • Very good spoken/written communication skills.
  • Experience with developing Graphical User Interfaces.
  • Knowledge of CAN architecture a plus.
  • Experience with FPGA design (Spartan Xilinx using VHDL preferred) a plus.

SKILLS
C/C++/C# programming languages. UML modelling, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody UML or other OOAD modelling tools, Experience with FPGA design (Spartan Xilinx using VHDL preferred) a plus, Knowledge of CAN architecture a plus, Experience with developing Graphical User Interfaces
