Provide Microsoft SQL Server 2005 – 2008 Database Administration (DBA) support for new applications, which includes installation, maintenance, debugging, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Support approximately 30 SQL Server databases. Mentor less experienced DBA staff on SQL Server. Minimum 5 years experience.
Experience working in Windows 2008 cluster environment required.
Preference given to holders of MCITP Database Administrator 2008 certification and MCTS SQL Server 2008 Implementation and Maintenance certification.
Provide backup to Oracle DBA. Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle database administration.
