CCCi has an opportunity for an IT Project Manager to work with our Energy client here in Charlotte. PM will work with Energy client's Smart Grid IT team.
IT Project Manager will manage full-lifecycle I/T activities associated with one or more small-medium projects related to the implementation of the AMI I/T infrastructure. PM will also work with the PMO lead or responsible PM II to:
-Staff an effective project team
-Plan the project, including scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality aspect of the project
-Execute the project within designed scope, cost and schedule limits
-Ensure definition of each team members' roles and responsibility.
-Develop goals and expectations to align the project team.
Client Required Skills:
4yr degree
-Demonstrated effective project management skills especially planning and directing work efforts, and motivating teammates.
-Demonstrated success translating objectives into project plans.
-Demonstrated success with scheduling and cost processes.
-Ability to effectively apply established project standards and change management processes
-Demonstrated experience managing moderately complex IT projects.
-Demonstrated ability to effectively track, analyze and trend project schedules to ensure successful and timely completion.
-Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio to develop and manage project schedules.
-Full lifecycle, application development, integration experience.
Desired skills:
-PMP
-*Experience with projects utilizing MQSeries & Informatica
-* Utilities experience with customer and power delivery applications ie billing, metering; experience with AMI
