My client is one of the premier financial institutions in the world and a global leader in providing innovative solutions with a large range of financial offerings to both public and private clients across Investment Management, Securities and Banking. They have a very large technical footprint that combines a dynamic range of technologies in an ultimately complex landscape and are looking for multiple technically focused Test Analysts to join their team.
The testing team work across a range of projects concurrently in this diverse, multiplatform environment which includes SQL Server, Sybase and Oracle Back End systems on UNIX/Linux platforms. These interface with an array of in-house developed and vender based applications such as HiPortfolio and Composer. These systems interact with a vast array of corporate clients and their specific technical environments which are ever changing so this along with the continued on-boarding of new clients provides a stimulating and challenging environment.
As a Test Analyst you'll have the opportunity to work on many of these projects and as such you'll gain rich experience across many financial domains within the world of securities such as Funds Management, Unit Pricing, Registry and Custody. You'll utilize your superior SQL Scripting skills and experience in complex, multiplatform (UNIX/Linux/Solaris) environments, working closely with developers to provide robust, scalable and high performing solutions for what is essentially a vital financial hub for high profile corporate clients and their investments.
Requirements of the role:
- 4 - 5 years technical/system integration testing experience.
- Experience testing on multiple platforms (UNIX, Linux, Solaris).
- Strong SQL Scripting/querying skills.
- Financial Services experience, ideally Securities/Funds Management/Custody.
- IT/Computer Science degree or industry relevant certifications (ISEB/ISTQB/CSQA).
- Experience with: HiPortfolio, Composer (highly desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
