Contracts Engineer

Description

Our client seeks an experienced Contracts Engineer with substantial knowledge of all aspects of off shore drilling. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not restricted to: all aspects of drilling contract support which shall include issue of invitation to tender, tender evaluation, contract award, post contract administration and contract close out; ensuring compliance with company and EU policy and procedures; identify potential bidders for good and services and prepare and execute contractor pre qualification; prepare and act as focal point for all invitations to tender including proposed contract terms and conditions based on the client's structured models; prepare tender evaluations; review all commercial matters and correspondence submitted by contractors; review contractual claims; liaise with third parties including but not limited to legal, insurance H & S, environment etc. Candidates will need and Engineering degree or equivalent experience; good working knowledge of  FPAL/Achilles; a proven record of timely delivery; a working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
