Description
Reporting to the Events and Sponsorship Manager, to influence and deliver a varied programme of events, corporate hospitality and sponsorship, ensuring that the value of all such activities is maximised in terms of brand building and stakeholder engagement.
Research, plan, manage and deliver the logistics and content for a full range of events on time and within budget, including but not limited to, motivational, corporate hospitality, exhibitions, conferences and other promotional events, in order to inspire and build a range of relationships, this will include some UK travel and working outside of normal office hours.
Manage, co-ordinate and administer incentive travel events (this may include some overseas travel), working closely and effectively with agencies where appropriate.
Manage, co-ordinate and administer the allocation of corporate hospitality tickets in order to maximise the value of corporate hospitality spend through stakeholder engagement.
Manage and work effectively with third parties, including events agencies, sports PR agencies to maximise their effectiveness.
Assist in the planning and co-ordination of activities across the business to ensure that sponsorship and events activities fit with and add value to existing marketing activities across the UK business and support delivery of business strategy.
Experience required:-
- Extensive experience of event management
- Extensive communications experience preferred, ideally covering brand and sponsorship, print and production.
- Proven experience of building effective working relationships with external agencies
- Proven experience of influencing contacts at a senior level
- Well-developed social skills and a high level of confidence and independence
