Sourcing Manager
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Sourcing Manager to work for a global, market leading financial services provider for an initial 4 month contract based in London, Canary Wharf.
The successful Sourcing Manager will be required to support strategic sourcing managers in HR category management. In addition you will lead development of assigned recruitment sub-category strategy delivering Permanent recruitment strategies which leverage global scale and drive excellence in execution at local, regional and global level.
The Sourcing Manager will be required to;
- Act as lead for HR on any legislation or other changes impacting People Global Standards, analysing change, impact and collating views, ensuring that changes are implemented and operational.
- Develop category plans which are aligned to cluster business objectives delivering quantified benefits against performance covering service delivery, quality and cost.
- Drive supplier and product rationalisation through cross functional reviews with Stakeholder sign off.
- Development of optimised sub category supply base across cluster, country, region and global.
- Utilise appropriate technologies to conduct supply market research, analysis, evaluation.
- Ownership of personal development plan.
- Ensure that guiding principles are applied and embed the global sourcing methodologies.
To be considered for this position the Sourcing Manager successful will have;
- HR procurement experience and specifically recruitment, with commercial management.
- A strong understanding of financial management including cost, revenue and profit.
- Exposure to strategic sourcing tools.
- Relationship management skills.
- Experience of managing communications across multiple business functions.
- Experience of conducting successful commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Understanding of regulatory and risk management requirements.
- Experience of working within International blue chip organisation.
