Project Manager - IPTV, Broadcasting, VOD, Triple-play

My client are a blue chip, global organization Based in Holland and are looking for an experienced Project Manager with IPTV experience to join their team who has a strong awareness of broadcast/digital TV and compression technologies.
As Project Manager your main tasks will be:
- To contribute to systems design and Implementation of IPTV platforms and products.
- To prepare and control project plans in terms of resource requirements, budgets, milestones and overall timescales to ensure that systems are designed, built, installed, tested and commissioned in line with contract specification.
- To act as the interface to the customer for all project issues.
- To provide leadership to Project Engineers assigned to work as part of a project team.
- Manage third party suppliers for the supply and integration of their products
- In addition to overall project management functions to undertake hands on activities necessary to achieve project completion, eg:
- Definition of key customer requirements
- Conduct competitive analysis of supplier equipment to determine the most cost effective solutions
- Establish customer communication and interface arrangements
- Lead design review meetings with customers
- Ensure stage payment invoices are issued in line with milestone accomplishment
- Liaise with Systems Engineers to resolve design problems and Sales teams on commercial issues
- Organise pre-delivery test routines
- Organise systems from design and build, through test and delivery
- Undertake on site installation testing and commissioning
- Track project finance
Personal Specification:
- Ideally educated to a minimum of first degree level in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related discipline
- Involvement in, or strong awareness of, the fields of broadcasting or related digital communication/high technologies
- A proven track record in the delivery of broadcasting or related communication/high technology projects.
- Self reliance, enthusiasm, problem solving, team leading attributes
- Software engineering experience in respect of Windows, Oracle and LAN technology an advantage.
- Valid passport.
