Description
The Integration Engineer performs configuration and integration of WCDMA nodes and solutions in the Core, Access and Services Networks as well as for Telecom management solutions.

Main Tasks

  • Support presales activities, including pre-studies
  • Create data transcript file to configure an upgrade of existing network or a new network build
  • Analyze the customers' existing networks/systems needs and requirements, in co-operation with the solution architect
  • Propose an implementation solutions for the customers in co-operation with the solution architect if is required
  • Use the applicable processes and procedures to establish test specifications to integrate solutions, telecom nodes in a network
  • Perform node integration, software upgrades and troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Secure that the delivered nodes/solution is properly implemented and works in accordance with the customers agreed requirements
  • Document the implemented solution, and support the customer with the needed competence development to be able to use the solutions
  • Continuously build up and retain required competence and skills in accordance with technology roadmap, to be able to deliver up-to-date integration services

Qualifications

  • Essential must have experience with RNC 3810, 3820 and P7 W10.
  • Degree holder in Telecommunication/Electronics Engineering/Information Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in Telecom industry with knowledge of GSM/GPRS, WCDMA/HSPA and IP technology. Understanding of LTE is plus
  • High level of understanding of end-to-end WRAN/IP network systems
  • In-depth knowledge of network node installation, integration, software upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Able to travel both in and out of the country
  • Good at customer handling, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to co-operate and work with people from different cultures
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Self initiative, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Strong passion in learning new technologies and willing to share knowledge with colleagues
  • Fluent in spoken & written English. Arabic is an asset
