Description
My client is currently seeking an UNIX Engineer for a 9 month contract in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuration and installation of software application and will need to have experience in working in a Linux environment.
Skills required:
- Strong experience working in Mobile Telecoms
- Experience in supporting IT systems in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Extensive experience working with UNIX/Linux systems (management/creation and network configuration/troubleshooting)
- Strong UNIX/Linux Scripting experience
- Unix/Linux hardware knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
In addition to these technical skills the client also seeks a candidate that has:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer facing experience
- Rate negotiable
- 9 month contract
