Description
We are currently searching for a RAN ENGINEER to work in THE HAGUE, THE NETHERLANDS for 6 months + extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client. I am looking for someone that can start in the end of January/beginning of February.
Jobspec:
You will work in a multi cultural team of professionals who are responsible for the day to day maintenance of the RAN and Transport domain:
. 2G Radio Network (Nokia and IpAccess BSC and base stations)
. 3G Radio Network (Nokia RNC and base stations)
. 2G and £G repeater systems
. SDH transmission network (Alcatel - Lucent ADM and DWDM)
. MSPTP Transmission network (Huawei)
. Microwave network (Nokia, NEC, Ericsson microwave equipment)
The network is serving around 5 M subscribers. This needs to be done according to the agreed SLA's and with the best quality possible.
Education and Work Experience:
. Education level: HTS-E/Bacelor or equivalent by experience
. 3 till 5 years experience in a similar position in a telecommunications operations and maintenance organisation
. Good knowledge of the English language in speaking and writing
. Excellent knowledge of 2G, 3G RAN technology particular Nokia and Ipaccess
