Our client, a leading plc is seeking to appoint a strong Company Secretary (statutory compliance) to join its high calibre team. This fantastic interim role will report into Group's Assistant Company Secretary and will handle the legal administration of all the Group's companies and other company secretarial matters. You will work closely with your peers, internal stakeholders and the wider business to deliver a first class service and will be responsible for handling a varied workload including: · Administration of various Boards including arranging meetings, collating papers and distributing papers · Preparing and filling statutory documents for the Group and it's subsidiaries; · Supporting other business units on project/transactional work; · Preparing and filling statutory documents for the Group and its subsidiaries;. · Liaising with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure compliance processes are adhered to and statutory obligations are met; · Providing company information to stakeholders such as auditors, regulatory bodies and management and dealing with all queries; · Dealing with bank mandates, obtaining approvals and updating Blueprint; · Support for the Company Secretarial International team and maintaining corporate information on overseas companies. · Dealing effectively with queries and providing company information to stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies and management. · Maintaining accurate and consistent records using Blueprint both internally and at Companies House. · Dealing with other issues as and when they arise. This role is challenging and requires an ICSA qualified, and highly technical candidate with excellent attention to detail, good planning and organisational skills. Experience of Blueprint is ideal. You will need to be a flexible, down-to-earth and approachable individual who is able to work both collaboratively and on your own initiative. As this position is highly visible within the business with extensive liaison with senior Directors and stakeholders, you should be tenacious, persistent and confident in your approach.
