Description
I am currently looking for a team of experienced French speaking fibre optic Outside Plant (OSP) engineers to work on a long term contract for a market leading client of mine in France.
Responsibilities -
- Survey and identify the OSP routes and its potential customer connectivity.
- Supervise OSP construction activities as per construction drawings.
- Project implementation as per construction standards.
- Prepare site diary as per project implementation quantity.
- Issue site instructions to subcontractor.
- Issue Site discrepancies if the contractor implement project in sub-standard manner.
- Issue and keep track of OSP materials quality on the site.
- Check Construction/As-built BOQ and Drawings.
- Identify the GPS coordinates for the routes, manholes and customer location.
- Fiber optic cable laying & pulling
- Fiber optic cable testing & commissioning
- Fiber optic cable splicing.
- Daily activities include updating drawings daily progress report
