Digital Mock-up/DMU Engineer - CAD/CATIA
Contract; 6 month (rolling)
Norfolk
My client, leading technical & innovative organisations are currently looking to recruit a DMU Engineer to support the current team. The ideal applicant will be required to manage the CATIA package Digital Mock-up (DMU) of vehicle systems & provide detailed reports on DMU Clash and package issues as requested. This will include;
- The package of a vehicle sub-system or component
- Review component package against system assemblies
- Report package and clash issues to project teams
- Propose alternate solutions to responsible designer/release engineer
- Ensure component design standards comply with DMU assembly rules
Skills required
- HNC or Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience within the automotive industry
- Extensive CAD experience
- Task management experience
- PC literate (spreadsheet, word processing, project planning, e-mail).
Please note; ad- hoc travel may be required in order to support project needs occasionally.
