SQL Database Administrator
3 - 6 month contract based in Dublin.
SQL Database Administrator with 5 to 6 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server design, implementation, maintenance and support with experience in managing the SQL clusters on SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
Required skills:
Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 administration experience is a must including backup and recovery procedures and performance turning methodologies.
Very Good Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 Clustering experience.
Experience in SQL Server Database Upgrades & Patching.
Strong Knowledge on Analysis Services/Integration Services & Reporting Services on SQL Server database is required
3/4 years of Windows Administration with good MS Active Directory experience.
Strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP/Group policy as well as Microsoft clustering. Good experience on Windows 2003/Windows 2008 environments.
Very strong communication skills, verbally and written.
Strong client facing experience
Good grounding in ITIL problem and change management disciplines. Understanding of service level agreements.
Desired skills - at least some of the following:
VMWare ESX 4.1 + experience/Knowledge
MS SharePoint Knowledge/experience
Windows Scripting experience
