The contract is with a large services organisation based in Brussels requiring an experienced Oracle DBA for an assignment in Antwerp. Must have knowledge of both English and Dutch.
Description or the mission:
As experienced DBA are you within the application development team responsible for the validation of all database changes to the production surroundings. Your state for the management and the maintenance of the test.
Different tasks:
- Installation of Oracle RDBMS products
- Installation and maintenance of Oracle GRID control
- Maintenance oracle RDBMS products
- Database logic and moddeling
- Oracle client functioning, setup and configuration
- Oracle TNS Oracle listener setup and maintenance
- Oracle guard of RDBMS products
- Import and export by means of datapump
- Extension of database models by means of powerdesigner
- Analyse of performance data (AWR)
- Windows 2003R2 Active Directory

Soft skills: You communicate smoothly in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English. Independent and large sense of responsibility. Experience with ITIL-processes is a trump card.
