My client is looking for an Oracle DBA for a role based in Belgium
MODULES/SKILL SET/TASK TO BE COMPLETED
- Competence Minimum Level
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Oracle DBA in an Oracle 10g environment
- Experience in SQL performance tuning
- Good understanding of PL/SQL
- Specific skills/experience required
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Oracle DBA in a Oracle 10/11G environment, preferable on a Wintel environment
- Experience in SQL performance tuning
- Good understanding of PL/SQL
- Roles and responsibilities
- Establishes and implements database development, design, administration, maintenance, security and data recovery policies, procedures and standards
- Ensures database availability, security, accuracy, consistency and overall functionality
- Provides guidance in the analysis, design, development, installation, implementation, testing, maintenance and administration of database systems in response to user requests and requirements
- Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, integrates, troubleshoots and optimizes complex databases. Creates programming scripts and procedures to store, transform and retrieve data
