Senior Embedded Linux Engineer - Device Driver, Kernel Development - Finland - Contract
Talented Embedded linux development engineers are currently required by an established consumer electronics consultancy based in Finland
Successful engineers will be responsible for the development of network drivers and will work closely with the silicon team to refine the design and performance models of next generation silicon.
You will develop firmware and drivers to help validate the silicon design
Essential Skills
The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly understand complex hardware and software architecture, you will have worked extensively at the hardware interface programming in C on Linux Kernel components.
- Linux Kernel/device driver development
- Excellent knowledge of coding in C
- Hardware/software co-design and an understanding of server system architecture
- TCP/IP experience
- Knowledge of digital design (EDA tools, Verilog, VHDL) would be beneifical
Immediate start dates are available contracts will be between 6 and 9 months initially with the potential for extension
