Description
Our customer has outsourced the following activities:
o IT outsourcing management
o Control and Monitoring Center
o Administrati on/Engineering
o Implement Changes
o Ad-hoc services.
The standard ITIL Processes are used to execute these activities.
- Each activity may concern one or several services in the following technologies:
- o Unix systems (AIX, HPUX and Linux)
o SAP systems
o Database systems (Oracle)
o WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
o Back up (Tivoli) and storage systems (mainly HDS)
o Monitoring systems
o Scheduling systems (Autosys) - People providing the services will work in the Brussels area at the customer's premises.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT
- At least 6 years of experience in AIX
- Preferably 3 years experience with ITIL processes and using an ITSM tool
- At least 6 years of experience in AIX, versions V5.3, V6.1 (and V7.1)
- At least 2 years of experience in HPUX (11i v2 & v3)
and/or Red Hat Linux - Scripting hands-on
- Network knowledge for troubleshooting
- Knowledge as an Unix system administrator of:
- o RDBMS Oracle
o Security mgmt & tools
o Storage and Backup - Good understanding of ITIL (preferably ITIL Foundation certification)
Nice to have: Basic knowledge of Project mgmt (Prince2 or PMI)
