Sales Support Operations Manager - Middlesex - Major IT consultancy - £50-60,000 + Bonus and benefits
A world recognised software and consulting services firm is currently seeking to recruit a sales support operations manager to work within their field services sales division. The field services sales team are responsible for selling complex consultancy service agreements to their enterprise level customers. Deals are complex long term agreements with values in excess of £1million.
As the sales support operations manager you will be responsible for owning the contract approval process, working across the sales team to ensure all deals agreed are achievable, profitable and compliant with both SoX and internal auditing standards.
Daily activities will include:
* Managing a team of Sales Operational Specialists
* Working with Sales Account Managers, checking that their proposals meet margin and revenue guidelines.
* Liaising with the Legal department, ensuring that contracts are de-risked and are legally compliant.
* Work with the project schedulers to plan resources for the project, using both internal staff and third parties where necessary.
* Reviewing and quantifying the pre-sold and pipeline consulting projects making accurate financial forecasts
You will be working to support the overall sales operations manager and you will need to have a good understanding of finance in order to create profit reports as well as monitoring the future pipeline for the sales team.
