Description
*We are currently looking for 1 Senior Spanish Linguist to work with a US Government customer performing translation from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish. This work will have a strong focus on web forums, social media outlets, blogs, and may require full translation, transcription and gisting. This Linguist, when hired, must be able to work in a multi-national environment, and must be able to work well in a team environment. What makes this opportunity unique is that the work beginning now in 2012 will take place in Northern Virginia, followed by relocation on or before September 2012 and an additional 4 years of work in Mexico City, Mexico. We will reimburse for relocation expenses up to $30k for the move to Mexico City.
*The pay rate for this job is $83k plus full benefits while working at the office in Northern VA and $83k plus full benefits plus hardship pay (as determined by the US Government) while working in Mexico City.
*The preferred clearance is a TS/SCI. Although, some Secret clearances may be crossed over to this customer. We would need to look at the Secret clearances on a case-by-case basis.
*We have a very short turn around time on this opportunity. For anyone who is interested, I would need to have them submitted by Noon on Jan. 31st.
*There is a MANDATORY customer Spanish test on 2/7/12. All candidates MUST be available on 2/7/12 to take this test at the customer's Reston, VA office.
