Leading Blue Chip Organisation is seeking an IT Siebel Applications Lead Officer Specialist to be responsible, together with the whole team, for the availability and performance of the Corporate & Public Banking Business IT Applications.

Main tasks:
- Lead a team of 3 persons and coordinate, execute following tasks:
- Install, validate, control business applications within agreed service levels: Deployment of releases based on Runbooks
- Maintenance of existing applications.
- Monitor the serviced applications
- Solve incidents (with or without other parties (3rd line) in Production and QA environments targeting to restore the service ASAP.
- Assist in analysing and solving Problems
- Implement & coordinate changes with or without other parties (3rd line).
- Inform users about standards and best practices.
- Team spirit and communication skills are key in order to achieve optimal productivity and performance quality

Personal skills:
- Ability to analyse and understand technical requirements that may have an impact on the
operability and the support of complex banking applications.
- Ability to work both in a team as well as autonomously.
- Ability to work in highly pressurised environments.

- Sense of urgency in the resolution of incidents
- Knowledge of banking applications environment
- ITIL (v3) knowledge of 2nd and 3rd level support organization of teams dedicated to specific
platforms and software systems.

Technical experience required

Mandatory:
- Thorough knowledge of Control M distributed
- Thorough knowledge of MVS, UNIX and Windows
- Good knowledge of IT environments

Preferable:
- Good knowledge of iSeries IBM Mainframe
- Experience in monitoring systems (Tivoli) will be an advantage.

Functional experience required

Mandatory:
- Ability to understand and analyze complex applications issues that could be related to the
software language or to the bank applications.
- Ability to document all new applications installed according to the bank standards and to
keep the documentation up-to-date.
- Ability to coordinate and implement changes in the QA and Production environments.

Preferable:
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Planning

Professional experience in Siebel CRM applications support

Languages required:

Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English;
Knowledge of French and/or Dutch will be an advantage
