Description
This position requires skills to oversee/manage the design (current and continuing), development and analysis of the overall architecture of this application.The CTMS-NG Solutions Engineer will oversee/manage web page design, dashboard design and overall web site flow.
In addition, the CTMS-NG Solutions Architect will manage GIS and mobile development and installations in the later stages of the project.
The position is based in Roanoke Virginia.
Education:
4-year College Degree or higher preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.

o Team Foundation Server (TFS)
o Mobile Web Applications (MWA)
o GIS
Proven Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience
Proven WCF knowledge and skills (management, creation and consumption of services)
Proven knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server areas (ie SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Proven experience in developing or managing the development and installation of mobile web applications
Proven experience in developing or managing the development and installation of GIS web applications
Proven knowledge of industry standards
Proven experience in application deployment/release management
Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure under pressure
Possess excellent communication skills. must be able to effectively discuss application design to NS IT personnel, the development team, and business area personnel
* Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills on highly complex problems; technical agility

* Possess development skills (must be able to mentor when needed)

The successful candidate will become a member of the CTMS-NG Development team within Information Technology Department. The candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing/managing the architecture design of the CTMS-NG application.
Developing and maintaining application design specifications (including mobile and GIS) resulting from use cases.
Design of interfaces to Legacy systems
Creation and/or overseeing in the creation of operational support documentation, test scripts and functional test plans.
Working with Business Partners, other IT development teams, and vendors to insure that a quality product is produced.
