My Client, a Local Authority in London is looking to engage an interim to deliver significant changes across their Fleet and Transport function. This work forms part of the Councils overall transformation programme and is driven by the need to deliver savings and improve efficiency.
The Council has already identified a number of key areas where change is required and now need assistance to develop project plans and ensure that expected savings are delivered. This is a key role within the transformation programme and an opportunity for someone who is focussed on delivering results.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of managing Fleet/Transport in a Local Authority setting and will have previously been involved in transformation. You will be self sufficient and able to deal with a range of stakeholders from service users to political members, with sensitivity where needed. You will have previous demonstrable experience of delivering savings within a transport environment.
