Description
Software assurance SME required to work on already contracted Typhoon tasks as instructed by the Project Management team.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Risk Class 1 Software development Requirements and Knowledge of software assurance/safety Assessment/management. Appreciation of software integrity and run-time exceptions (Causes and Consequences) and appreciation of signed, unsigned and Boolean arithmetic at the bit level. Knowledge of Ada and C and their program construction, including build environments. Knowledge and experience of modular software component architectures and development and the use of software analysis tools (eg LDRA TestBed). Although this is not working to DO178B standards, this experience would be useful.
Desirable experience includes, but limited to, knowledge of Eurofighter software development and documentation standards. MMR Domain Knowledge and experience with Coding Standards and enforcement of language subsets.
