My client is looking for a Promotions Specialist to join their team on an initial 6 month maternity cover.

Your main role will be to ensure the Promotions Plan is effectively managed and delivered in line with the centrally agreed strategy across the different Business Units for the required countries, securing the Business Plan results and ROI.

Skills & Experience:-
An experienced European marketing professional
Excellent communication skills
Good negotiation/influencing skills
Team working essential
Channel marketing knowledge essential.
Intermediate excel, PowerPoint, word and Acrobat minimum
English both spoken and written to a high level is essential
Additional European languages would be an advantage
Educated to degree level is desirable

Promotions Management
To work with the Senior Promotions manager to implement the agreed strategy for Pan-European promotional campaigns, assist the Senior Promotions Manager in producing a Promotional Plan in line with Business Unit strategy and implement the plan.
Work closely with the relevant divisions within EMD (Creative, Communications, Advertising and Promotions) and ensure all aspects of a campaign and promotion run on time and to budget
Engage ESCs in all phases of planning a promotion and maintaining good dialogue throughout each stage
Responsible for tracking and measuring the performance of any promotion and campaigns that you are working on
Achieve and exceed marketing KPI's developed in conjunction with the Senior Promotions Manager
Actively developing key areas of improvement for the future as discussed with the Senior Promotions Manager.
Ensure regular updates/reports are provided on activity outcomes and performance in conjunction with the Senior Promotions Manager to the ESCs and to EMD management
Monitor and make recommendations in response to competitor activity to the Senior Promotions Manager.
Track promotions budget for activities identified within the advertising and promotions marketing plan
Responsible for accurate phasing of budget

Alliances and Agency Relationships
By working with the Advertising manager, ensure media plans are effective from a Pan-European promotions perspective for your promotions.
Work with agreed agency on each promotions, ensuring agreed objectives are met

Reporting and Communications
To provide reporting in line with the requirements of the Head of Advertising and Promotions and Senior Promotions Manager, which will include ROI on promotional and channel marketing activities
To liaise with product management and the sales companies in EMEA as required
Ad hoc duties within Advertising and Promotions where appropriate, in support of the Head of the Department and Senior Promotions Manager.
