Description
Essential Experience - More than 5 years` experience in Offshore Fire and Gas/Instrumentation engineering design and operation. The candidate must be motivated and able to work under minimum supervision while also being a team player. Must be capable of identifying and developing project wide design deliverables with familiarity of the interpretation of appropriate national & international industry standards. Must be capable of scoping projects and specification of field fire and gas detection and protection instrumentation and systems. Must have design group management and interface experience.The candidate must have Offshore Experience and be RGIT certified.
Typical activities will include Offshore site surveys, generation of Front End Engineering Design (FEED) package deliverables. Preparation of philosophy and changeover strategy documentation. Management of design personnel who will be producing FEED design drawings (assist in development of block diagrams, Material Take Offs and other deliverables associated with a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) package. Interface with Client engineers, manhour control and reporting.
Desired Experience
- Experience of upgrades to existing offshore production and accommodation facilities.
-Experience in the quantitative elements of BS(EN)61508/11/13. Involving quantified loop design to achieve required integrity levels, particularly from a Fire and Gas standpoint.
