Position: SC Cleared Buyer/Supply Chain Manager
Term: 6 months +
Location: Hampshire
Job Description:
Our Client a leading Communications company, are currently seeking an experienced Buyer/Supply Chain Manager and must have relevant experience in Technology goods/services.
The candidate must have Solutions IS exposure and will have responsibility for existing business and new business requisites must be able to work at a past pace and have strong negotiating and communication skills.
Key Skills:
*Strong Lead/Negotiating skills for the purchase of good and/or services
*Professional member of CIPS or similar level of qualification
*Excellent track record of effective management of Supplier agreements
*Experience in development of new source of supply and alternative materials that add best value to the business
*Experience in commercial and legal construction of supplier agreements
*Drive and monitor systematic suppliers performance and effectively measure and report against contractual commitments
*Capability and experience of influencing annual IS budgets in the region of £12-13M
*Strong Stakeholder Skills
Due to the nature of the business the relevant candidate would be expected to go through a basic security clearance and people who have current SC Clearance would be of particular interest.
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
