Description
Requirement:
Write the PIC (or FPGA) code for the sensor processor card to the specified functional and performance requirements.
Work closely with Engineer 1 to understand the specific architecture of the programmable device and to agree the use of in-built peripheral devices and functions.
Work closely with the Shore Equipment Software Engineer to understand the data format and data delivery requirements.
Design in Built-in-Test and monitoring functions
Produce design proving code and deliver test results
Produce software documentation
Desirable:
Able to work with a minimum level of management
Good standard of documentation
Attention to detail
Used to working to set timescale and budget
