Our global financial services client is looking to hire a high level Project Manager, to take full responsibility of an Offshoring Programme for Operations within the business.
You will have full accountability for the Programme ensuring the smooth transition of business areas over to Asia.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Perform analysis of team processes and functions and provide recommendations for efficiency and control improvements
- Work with functional, external contractors and IT teams to implement a portfolio of process improvement initiatives covering all locations and functions impacting productivity/automation, risk and efficiency
- Conduct ongoing process reviews with management teams and embed a culture of continuous improvement
- Carry out rationalizations and improvements for the functions that are being migrated to the organizations shared service centre's
- Ensure all projects have measurable and quantifiable efficiency and/or control savings
- Ensure all projects are on track and implemented within pre-agreed timelines
- Deliver and coordinate projects for UK & Asia regions
- Experience of delivering an offshoring project within investment banking
Experience:
- Experience managing business projects in investment banking
- Experience in operations or finance (IB, Wholesale or retail) working as a business analysis & project management
- Good knowledge of BPR, Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques
- A track record of process re engineering and benefit realization
- Knowledge of bank control infrastructure
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Awareness of typical operations and finance architectures
- Leadership and Communication-demonstrate a range of styles and techniques in leadership and communications, including influencing and negotiating
