Function:
We are currently engaged with a tier-1 organisation in Melbourne who are going through a significant transformation of their Logistics and Supply Chain network. The aim of the transformation is to address challenges they have with supply and demand across the business. A key component of this five year transformation is the vision and roadmap for the BI reporting solution to provide greater Real Time/deep-dive reporting capability for management. Microstrategy has been selected as fit for purpose based on key business drivers.
Your profile:
- Our client is looking for a Microstrategy Consultant who can first of all understand exactly what the key business drivers are and what needs to be reported on to add value. In many instances, educating the customer will be required so they can visualise the capability of the solution from Dashboards to Operational Reports.
- Following in-depth requirements gathering, you'll be required to start designing and shaping the solution. To do this effectively, working in collaboration with the Data Architects and ETL Developers is essential.
- You need to be able to develop the cubes/reports and dashboards in an Agile/Iterative manner.
- Experience with data modelling, ETL development and other aspects of the Data Warehousing and Data Integration is highly desirable.
