Description
For my client in Amsterdam I am looking for a Senior Voice Engineer.
As a voice engineer you will be responsible for the design of softswitches, TDM Switches, VoIP platforms and VoIP gateways. Besides that you will work on expansions on existing platforms.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- build and design platforms and expand existing platforms
- develop advanced telephony services for corporates
- write engineering plans and work on specific client requests/solutions
- support opareations with consultancy and in case of technical escalations
- deal with suppliers during technical escalations and product evaluation
- dealing with quotes on product deliveries and make vendor selections
Requirements:
- degree in Computer Science, preferabbly in Telecom Engineering
- profound experience in a similar role
- experience with telephony services, like Nortel/Genband DMS100, CS2K configurations and call routing
- Experience inIN, Cisco Routers, Switches and gateways (ITPs, ACME, SBC's)
- profound knowledge in ISDN, C7, VoIP, SIP protocol
- willing to work outside office hours as well
- candidates who are eligible to work in The Netherlands is a big bonus
The role can be filled by a contractor on an hourly rate for a period of about 6 months + option to extension. Client is also open for permanent employees (salary €3.500,- to €4,500, depending on experience + secundairy benefits). Last option is that the client will hire the candidate on a 6 months contract trough Arrows Group and will be offered a contract after that period of time.
