DESCRIPTION

The Engineer is responsible for specialized and large-scale projects related to BSC/BTS, RNC/NodeB, and ENB. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, RAN parameter changes, retunes, and many other special projects related to RAN. Perform remote data translations in varying types of equipment and technologies (2G, 3G, 4G) to support a wireless infrastructure. Will create and document methods of procedure, work within larger project teams, and create and test configuration scripts prior to implementation. In addition, must also attend project calls and perform off hours work.

Qualifications

• Ericsson/Lucent 4G RAN experience
• Ericsson/Lucent 3G RAN experience
• Ericsson/Nokia/Siemens 2G BSS experience
• Understanding of GSM or UMTS switching concepts
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Mastery of Excel
• Requires flexible hours, including some night work
