DESCRIPTIONThe Network Service Support Consultant will support multiple clients in Matrix team environment supporting DNS and DHCP.
Responsibilities:
- Perform problem and resolution duties of identified DNS and DHCP issues.
- Provide completion of submitted customer requirements for their DNS and DHCP services.
- Minimum of three years experience in LAN network support with a focus on DNS and DHCP support within a Matrix support environment.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Unix.
- Network Protocol Expert in DNS/DHCP and IP Management application support.
- DNS appliance experience preferred.
- High understanding of Scripting/programming (Perl/Shell Scripting, C, C++).
- Expert in AIX, Linux, Sun Solaris, Windows with supporting DNS/DHCP applications.
- Significant knowledge of Active Directory required.
- Understanding of how to utilize VI for IP/host name updates.
- Understanding of CNR required.
- Significant knowledge of QIP and usage of QIP GUI.
- Experience with Infoblox and Blue Cat Adondis appliances extremely beneficial.
- Anycast IP Protocol experience required.
- Alcatel-Lucent QIP Application experience necessary.
- Must have knowledge of both Perl and Shell Programming/Scripting.
- Understanding of client technical requirements a must.
- Problem and resolution experience.
