Description
Network Consultant required by market leading financial services organisation in London City. The Network Consultant will be responsible for the design and service delivery of the Bank's data and voice networks.
Candidates MUST have experience in developing networking strategies and multi-site CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager) deployments.
Experience of following is also required:
*Development and implementation of a network infrastructure
*Provide technical management and supervision of out-sourced LAN support and WAN providers
*Provide 2nd and 3rd level support on all network related issues when required
*To produce and maintain communications related documentation
*Sourcing miscellaneous equipment relating to communications services
*Undertake tasks as requested or directed by management
Candidates will also need a good understanding of Voice/Data convergence technologies in wide and local area network environments along with TCP/IP, QoS, IPT, VoIP, VoFR, IOS; Cisco Routers and Switches; routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP; WAN Optimisation, Storage environments, Video Conferencing and Mobile technologies. Ideally, the candidate will hold the CCIE certification or equivalent.
