Location: San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a QA Analyst with at least 2 years of web service aka XML testing using Quality Center/Clearquest/GreenHat Tester or Lisa ITKO
Banking experience is a MUST.
Selected candidate will be assigned testing responsibilities for some of our more complex projects related to Debit/Credit Card systems.
These responsibilities include:
- Analyze, test, and certify application-specific software and perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements, use cases, and functional specification documents.
- Will serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project, including organizing activities with other testers and outlining dependencies from development
- conducting ambiguity reviews for requirements
- Use advanced knowledge in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts
- Creating test scenarios
- Managing test execution and overseeing testing progress
- Assesses testing risks and offers options on appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure certification of the code with quality.
- Work with clients to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology to resolve questions during the testing processproviding client support including lines of businesses
- documents all phases of the Systems QA process
- Responsible for designing and distributing training materials.
- Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff
Minimum skills:
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members
- 4-7 years work experience in the IT field
- 3 years experience in creating test plans and test scenarios in Quality
Center - 3 years experience in UI and Database testing
- 2 years experience in SQL Server Reporting Services testing
- 1 year experience working in a financial institution, with advance knowledge of how customers and accounts are setup.
- Strong usage of HP/Mercury Quality Center (requirements, test plan, test lab, and defect modules)
