Project Manager- Contract, Charlotte, NC
We have an Immediate Need for a Project Manager who will be assigned to the analysis, design, and implementation of multiple renewable generation projects.
This role will work with multiple external SCADA and control vendors to negotiate and validate the project detailed requirements, vendor costs, and implementation schedules. Key energy management systems that will be involved in all projects are OSIsoft Pi, Alstom/AREVA, and other vendor SCADA systems.
The project manager will manage and delivery the following projects.
- Wind Vendor SCADA Overlay: select and implement a vendor SCADA overlay solution for multiple external SCADA vendors and wind sites.
- Vendor SCADA Infrastructure: move vendors from the existing vendor infrastructure to a new infrastructure supported and controlled by Duke IT.
- Solar Vendor SCADA overlay: select and implement a vendor SCADA overlay for multiple external SCADA systems and solar sites.
Required: at least 6 years of IT Project Management experience.
- BS degree in Information Technology or other equivalent degree or work experience.
- Experience managing vendor relationship.
- Defining and developing technical requirements, developing statement of work, etc.
- Experience and knowledge of OSIsoft Pi, Alstom/AREVA, and other SCADA systems is desired. Ability to define and communicate detailed requirements to vendor and IT.
