Within one of Australia's biggest banks, two new contract opportunities now exist for Senior .NET Developers in the Middle Office.
Key Responsibilities
The Middle Office Rates Project aims to replace a large and complex manual process with a new solution. The project will integrate a large number of sources, enrich and validate the data and publish to a large number of downstream systems. Cadis EDM have been selected to provide the core framework for the construction of the solution. The tool is highly customisable and configurable largely based on MS SQL Server code.
You will contribute to the detailed design of the Web UI Solution, ensuring all requirements are covered by a robust, scalable and flexible design. Additionally, you will be responsible for the development of the Web UI solution using the Microsoft framework - rich work flows, reporting and dashboarding will be configured within the product. The outcome will provide the Middle Office team with fast and efficient tools to manage an ever growing volume of data.
The solution will be supported through the corresponding test phases to resolve defects.
Key Skills and Requirements
To be considered, you should have the following skills and experience:-
1. Design skills - OOD, Web UI design, UML
2. Essential development skills - MS.NET 3.5 and 4.0 C#, ASP.NET MVC 3.5, Windows Workflow 4.0, ASP.NET 3.5 Chart Controls
3. Desirable development skills - Microsoft SharePoint, Silver Light, SSIS 2008, SSRS 2008, MS SQL 2008 and TSQL
You should have five years experience in programming and application design, specifically within large and complex environments. An understanding of the Middle Office, or other financial services experience is also highly desirable.
