Finance Manager
4-month contract
The Role:
To manage the provision of a comprehensive finance support service to meet the needs of a business unit or the significant part of a major business unit, providing effective leadership to team members and contributing to the strategic direction of the area assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation of all accounting policies and compliance with accounting standards, Group policy and other governance requirements (eg SOX)
- Preparing monthly results for the consolidated business for submission to Wholesale and Group Finance
- Liaising and providing relevant information to external auditors during their reviews
- Ensure the integrity of the results through the challenge of the Finance Team in profit reviews
- Managing the relationship with Wholesale and Group Finance
- Provide variance analysis compared to forecast for Business, Wholesale & Group
- Fully understand the results from a bank perspective and business perspective
Skills & Experience:
- Experience of Finance activities undertaken with a general Finance & Financial Services background
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Commitment and dedication to deliver to deadlines
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
