Basic Qualifications:
The individual in this position will be interfacing with customers, developers, DBAs, testers, designers and other application teams. Due to the nature of this position, the applicant will need the ability to work from home or during off-hours as necessary. Candidates must have:
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent years of work experience
Five or more years experience developing web applications, with at least 4 years dedicated to ASP.NET solutions
Three or more years experience directly supporting application development, systems integration or Interface Testing team with responsibilities including planning, development, integration testing and support, implementation, etc.
Three or more years experience creating problem resolution plans, including key milestones, dependencies, critical paths, risk management plans, and quality control.
At least two years experience in analysing business requirements, recommending technical solutions, and writing technical specifications and/or requirements
Two or more years test planning and execution experience for a .NET Application across System Test, WIT, UAT and Production Support;
The ability to design, develop and tune Oracle PL/SQL server databases
Five years experience developing applications using the follow languages: Visual Basic, .NET (VB.NET and C#), and ASP.NET, Relational Database Design, Visual Basic, COM, and Oracle.
Ability to design, development and tune of Oracle PL/SQL server database queries;
Excellent understanding of Web Development technologies in general, including JavaScript, AJAX, and XML
The ability to demonstrate work experience by providing examples, samples, and source code
Experience working across complex organizational initiatives involving national and regional stakeholders.
2 years experience working with integrated business and IT project plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, resource loading, risk management plans, and quality control.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
The ability to adapt to changing priorities
An extremely detail-oriented work ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to respond from outside of the office; High-speed Internet access to enable VPN Remote work access
Strong leadership, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with project management tools. (ie MS Project, WorkBench, or equivalent tools).
Healthcare, insurance, and "Big 5" IT consulting background strongly desired.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) desired.
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)
Working knowledge of development products.
Demonstrated ability to manage staffing needs (including interviewing and making hiring recommendations), assigns work to meet project objectives, tracks progress and conducts work quality reviews.
Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (eg partnering, conflict management, consulting, etc.)
Solution development experience in a diverse range of complex problems, which require creativity and innovation within broadly defined policies and practices.
Experience in the multiple application spaces with knowledge of sales and quote processing systems.
Extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle and system and application program development technology alternatives.
Prior experience working in a healthcare industry position.
Leadership skills and experience preferred.

3-5 Daily responsibilities:
Manage and merge source code for releases, patches and emergency fixes
Process security requests from the help desk and update appropriate non-production database environment
Apply PL/SQL release changes to non development and production database environment for five BETS regions
Promote programming changes to engineering environment where BETS can be tested by developers, QA test team and business partners
Prepare non production environments for development, system test, workflow integration testing and user acceptance testing ( approximately 75 non production/production/disaster recovery database environments currently exist in BETS)
Support building and deploying disaster recovery environments
