Description
The role is initially either a 6 month contract but there is a very strong possibility that this will be extended out longer.
The requirements for the role are as follows:
Strong Unix Scripting ability (in bash preferably) is a must.
Good general Solaris 10 knowledge including patching, SMF service management, user/group management, process management, jumpstart, svm and live upgrade.
Good knowledge of the following services/protocols in Solaris or Linux environment:
- LDAP
- NFS
- SSH
- RSYNC
- DHCP
- DNS
- NTP
Linux experience would be a bonus - especially with RedHat.
