Description
Sr. J2EE/Struts Developer/Back End Java Developer Needed for a fast growing small company! If you are a seasoned Java/J2EE Developer who thrives in a smaller team environment, who is technically savvy, and can solve problems independently than WE NEED YOU!. Excellent communication skills are a must have for this role as you will be interacting with clients. You will be working on web-based solutions doing all new development. There will be some Front End work as well as heavy Back End development on our cutting edge, consumer facing web applications. This client is a leading-edge technology company specializing in dynamic on-line retailing solutions. This client is also the fastest growing technology provider in the industry and offers employees the opportunity to work with breakthrough technology and co-develop with some of the industries leading on-line retailers. Key skills/attributes required to be successful include positive attitude, solid experience with Java/J2EE web development skills, Struts, Hibernate, great communication skills, customer interaction savvy, and the ability to work independently in an unstructured environment. Nice to haves: experience with SQL Server, understanding of queries, updates, inner/outer joins, indexes, installing a database, etc. and Agile/Scrum methodology. Any experience you have working on consumer facing products is highly desirable. This is a contract to permanent role but we would consider a permanent position out of the gate if that is a better fit for you. No sponsorships available. Background check and drug screen required.
