1 . Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information for the operator (customer)
- Advise operator on data security and security policy improvement
- Ensure if the best IT tools, software, equipment, and telecommunication devices are being used for business excellence
- Work with the network administrator and make sure there is no problem in the smooth functioning of the whole of the MS IT operation
- Review and test prospective IT solutions which would be profitable if incorporated
- Ready with data backup and disaster recovery procedures and plans in case of unfortunate situations
- Ensure that IT-related annual operating and capital budgets do not extend the limits prescribed by the customer's management
- Interacts with operator's executive management in communicating concepts for revenue streams generated by information systems technology
- Work with the HR manager and staff to recruit and train qualified candidates for different IT jobs in a Managed Service project
- Responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the IT Managed Services project
- Support in Managed Services sales and bidding activities, including sales strategy, transformation strategy, sales presentation and contract negotiation
2 . Requirement for candidates:
- Familiar with operator's framework, process, business and operations
- Experience on IT budgeting, resource allocation, systems expansion and design, systems acquisition and operations management of all information systems and programming activities
- Willing to travel extensively
- Candidate is expected to have excellent leadership skills, communication skills, management skills, and interpersonal skills
- Former CIO of a telco operator is preferred
