This Company is currently looking for a Knowledge Portal Manager .This is a huge opportunity to help deliver improvements in business process, information management and communication across departments within Central Programs!

Essential Functions:

You willprovide effective leadership in the development, implementation and rollout of Knowledge Portal, and other portals within the program. The position has proven self-management ability and accountability for assigned deliverables. Notify the PMO of any risks, issues or challenges that are faced throughout the Program which may compromise timeframe, quality or other acceptance criteria. Risk and issue notifications must be accompanied by a well thought out resolution/contingency plan. Manage and facilitate the promotion of the Portals and develop the skills of Portal users through the development and implementation of programs and materials; including training courses for content contributors and end users, publications such as client briefs, Portal brochures and articles for distribution Monitor, evaluate and report on the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities. The position will manage the Portal Administrator and vendors who may be appointed for tasks as part of the program Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns; and manage Act as a thought leader for communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing; and facilitate support, sharing of experiences and guidance for such stakeholders across the sector. As the Knowledge Portal Manager you will be accountable to the Systems & Infrastructure Manager and will also be supported by the Portal Administrator. You will provided accountability to the development and use of the Portal in a way that enhances business process, knowledge sharing and information management

Specific Qualifications:
  • Industry certification in IT standards such as CISA or CISM
  • You will have project management skills including the ability to co-ordinate,
  • Assess, resolve technical issues and complete projects within time, cost and quality constraints;
  • Proven knowledge and application of Prince2, or equivalent, program management methodology
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Communications or relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of capabilities, strengths and limitations of Portal products, eg BEA ALUI
