Finance Manager
Job Details:
An opportunity has arisen for a part qualified or newly qualified accountant to work in the Divisional Finance team for Group Operations to assist with the testing of the new GDRS system This role is within the Financial Reporting team who are responsible for controlling and delivering the financial reporting process, through production of robust management information and effective business unit support and challenge in meeting the requirements of the Central Director of Group Operations Finance and Group Finance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Be key tester in Group Operations Finance for the GDRS system. Reporting to Manager, Financial Reporting
- SAP experience
- Back fill when required for the Production of Group Operations Divisional monthly reporting packs, including production and consolidation of detailed commentaries for the Division as a whole and each functional area, explaining monthly trends and performance against budget, forecast and prior periods.
Key Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience - likely to be a qualified/part qualified accountant with experience of financial reporting. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Organisation - plans, co-ordinates and controls the work and resources of self and others, using resource effectively.
- Procedural/Specialist Knowledge - has a very good knowledge of the relevant finance procedures and services in own areas of responsibility, including interpretation of and application of Group and best practices.
- Experienced of MS Office with high level of proficiency in Excel and use of advanced formulas. Should also have experience using PowerPoint and preparing executive level reports
- Strong relationship Management capability - Easily develops strong business relationships with others and can work well with people from various parts of the business to ensure good delivery of the material required.
- System Knowledge - A good working knowledge of SAP
- Qualifications - Qualified Accountant.
