Description
Computer People have a Consultancy customer and we are looking for the services of an Enterprise Architect.
The role is to take ownership for the end-to-end technical architecture of the Smart Metering solution.
You will need to develop an understanding of the business processes that the Smart Metering solution is required to support.
You will also need to develop the enterprise architecture strategy to provide effective integration of the communications service with other parties within the DECC smart metering solution.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:-
*Lead the provision of the enterprise aspects of the communications solution to include service design, security design, integration to data service provider (head-end system), and integration with comms hub HAN.
*Responsible for the overall smart metering solution Enterprise Architecture, to include the development of the end to end solution integration with the WAN radio communications solution and the DECC business processes.
*Develop the service design architecture for the Smart Metering Communications Service ensuring that the solution aligns with the support model and end to end business processes being developed by DECC.
*Own and maintain documented requirements for the end to end solution.
*Agree design guidelines with sub-system work stream leads to ensure all elements of the design produce an integrated end-to-end solution.
*Lead the production of documented technical solutions for internal and external use.
*Develop control measures to reduce and control identified risks to acceptable levels for the overall end to end smart metering solution
*Attend customer review meetings and effectively convey technical and other information, and provide technical advice to both technical and non-technical 3rd parties.
*To play a key role in defining processes and procedures and ensure compliance to policies and guidelines used by other team members.
