Description
Global industry leader known as a Top Employer in the Atlanta area seeks a GXT/GWT Developer to write web-based programs to maintain and control computer systems software. Responsible for creating and then fine-tuning the Front End graphical user interface after it has been made.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging and testing.
- Provide technical leadership and take ownership for component development and maintenance.
- Work closely with other developers on the team to find solutions for difficult problems.
- Produce clear and complete functional and design specifications.
- Provide expert and timely support for customer issues that reach the development team.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant field required.
- 1+ years experience required with GWT, preferably GXT.
Skills and Competencies:
- GXT (a.k.a. Ext GWT) 2.1.0+ (GUI is built on GXT.)
- GWT 2.1.0+ (if not familiar with GXT specifically, general GWT aptitude will do with a learning curve.)
- Java 5+ (General Java coding experience always helps.)
Preferred Skills:
- Eclipse.
- SVN (subversion.)
